PD75 aluminium-composite window with 45mm Ultra FRP Core.

PD75 is a 75 mm aluminium-composite window system. Its 45 mm Ultra FRP Core is a pultruded glass-fibre reinforced polyurethane (GRPU) element that connects the interior and exterior aluminium shells. The released window build must define the core material, corner connection, glazing, seals and hardware.

One core, three contributions.

Strength

Structural continuity

Continuous glass-fibre reinforcement helps transfer loads between the aluminium shells and maintain the composite section. Connection strength and whole-window wind resistance remain verified for each ordered build.

Energy

Thermal insulation

The 45mm low-conductivity core lengthens the heat-flow path between indoor and outdoor aluminium, helping limit thermal bridging, heat loss and cold interior surfaces.

Acoustics

Vibration separation

The core's material damping and physical separation of the aluminium shells help reduce structure-borne vibration transfer. Final sound insulation also depends on glazing, seals, joints and installation.

The structural heart of PD75.

PD75 is an aluminium-composite system, not a full-FRP frame. Its Ultra FRP Core replaces a conventional narrow polyamide thermal barrier and connects the two aluminium shells. Continuous glass fibres provide reinforcement; the polyurethane matrix forms the low-conductivity core. Release for supply requires material traceability, connection test evidence and whole-window verification for the ordered construction.

PD75 configurations.

Outward-opening window

The sash opens outward to preserve usable interior space. Straight inner and outer sightlines, a European C-groove hardware interface and dry-glazing gaskets support repeatable local fabrication.

  • Outward-opening sash
  • European C-groove hardware interface
  • Automotive-grade EPDM foam equalisation gasket
  • Dry glazing without wet sealant

Inward tilt-turn window

The inward-opening sash supports both full opening and tilt ventilation. In tilt mode, ventilation remains available while helping limit direct rain entry.

  • Inward turn and tilt ventilation
  • Shared 45 mm Ultra FRP Core profile family
  • European C-groove hardware interface
  • Straight frame-and-sash interior geometry

Source-catalogue performance references.

The source system catalogue reports the following values for the listed glazing build-ups. They are reference results for the catalogue specimen, not automatic ratings for another size, glazing package, fabrication route or national standard.

Qualification gate: final thermal, air, water, wind, acoustic and durability claims must be confirmed for the ordered window size, glass, warm edge, hardware, joints, installation node and destination-market test method. Catalogue values must not be reused as a project guarantee.

Product FAQ

Technical questions.

Reference answers for early system selection. Final dimensions, components and performance are fixed in the project-specific technical package.

Is PD75 a full-FRP window frame?

No. PD75 is an aluminium-composite window system. A 45mm pultruded GRPU Ultra FRP Core structurally connects the inner and outer aluminium shells and provides a low-conductivity thermal path.

What are the key PD75 profile dimensions?

PD75 has a nominal frame construction depth of 75 mm and a 45 mm Ultra FRP Core. Final sash, glazing, hardware and connection details are fixed for the ordered configuration.

How can a fabricator qualify the PD75 system?

PINDÉ starts with drawings, BOM and destination requirements, then qualifies material traceability, corner connections and the selected whole-window build before repeat profile or glass-free CKD supply.
